Brandi Almario, RD, LDN, LMBT, BS, NASM-CES brings a wealth of education, experience and dedication to her practice at A Stronger Tomorrow.
I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is excited to work with you on your health and
wellness journey. I’ve always loved helping others achieve their best health, and I founded A
Stronger Tomorrow in 2000 to share my passion and expertise with others.
My clients and I will always have something in common: a desire to be healthier every day. That desire requires both a personal and practical understanding of what health looks and feels like for each person. Sometimes it means a focus on diet and exercise or prevention. Sometimes it means zeroing in on weight loss. Whatever your goals and concerns, I will help you manage your path to wellness.
My experience as a personal trainer and massage therapist also brings a unique perspective to your nutrition journey. I understand that physical activity and muscle wellness are intertwined to create a healthier you.

More about Me

In addition to my private practice, I am a dietitian in a clinical research study on weight loss with Monroe Biomedical Research, examining GLP-1 weight loss drugs—commonly known as brand names Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy. I believe that understanding the power of these drugs is an important extension of my work with weight loss clients. I am also a Registered Dietitian at Structure House, a residential weight-loss facility in Durham, N.C.
I believe in lifelong learning when it comes to health and wellness. I am currently completing my master's degree from N.C. Central University—where I also earned a bachelor’s in family consumer science with a concentration in dietetics. I am a graduate of the Dietetic Internship Program at NCCU and a licensed Registered Dietitian Nutritionist in both North Carolina and Maryland.
I also have a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in exercise and sport science. While at UNC, I obtained a personal trainer certification with the National Academy of Sports Medicine and previously worked at Cisco Systems in their corporate wellness program.

I completed the massage therapy program at the Body Therapy Institute in Siler City, N.C., and am also a licensed massage therapist in North Carolina.

I’m a Maryland native who enjoys the outdoors and spending time with my family—my
husband, Jojo, our two children, and our dog, Riddle. In my spare time, we enjoy camping,
hiking, biking, pickleball and just staying active.
